Eric Ivan Rosse is a record producer, songwriter, composer, and mixer.

As a record producer, he specializes in taking artists to the peak of their performing abilities by supporting, guiding, and underscoring their talent - making the most of strengths, and helping to bring out the artists uniqueness while focusing the project towards a career defining sound.

He has helped to musically develop and launch the careers of Gold and Platinum selling artists like Tori Amos, Anna Nalick, and Lisa Marie Presley, and has been instrumental in their most popular albums, whose combined sales total well into the multi millions.

Beginning with Grammy nominated artist Tori Amos groundbreaking album Little Earthquakes, Eric began a producing career focused on bringing an impact and broad appeal to unique and innovative artists who might otherwise be passed over by the mainstream. Eric continued his work with Tori, producing her acclaimed, Grammy nominated 2nd album Under The Pink, who's singles God and Cornflake Girl went on to be US and International smash singles.

Developing a penchant for developing artists, Eric has taken a number of projects under his wing, being instrumental in the signings of artists like Anna Nalick (Epic Records) and Gus (Almo Sounds) and helping to develop a sound for signed artists like Sara Bareilles (Epic) and Lisa Marie Presley, for whom he was also a Capitol Records A&R consultant.

Eric's musical background is diverse. He started playing piano at age 8, eventually studying orchestration and arranging with Jazz great Joe Rotundi Sr. At 17, he scored an award winning short film by a graduate student after having entered the USC film program, and shortly thereafter, began his career as a professional musician.

Eric played in numerous bands as a keyboard player, writer and singer for several years until forming the company EMBR Music with brother Michael Carey, which specialized in cutting edge music for TV and commercials. Steering away from the mundane jingle approach to commercial music, EMBR quickly became sought after by directors and production companies looking for artistic alternatives to the norm.

Eric eventually went on to pursue his passion for songwriting, album production, and scoring, taking his innovative approach into the recording process as well by setting up his studio in unusual locations such as Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico - where he produced Tori Amos and scored the critically acclaimed film Hand Of Fate - and Air Studios in London, where he produced projects for EMI-UK and Sony Music.Eric currently works out of his newly built SquawkBox Studio in Silverlake, Los Angeles, enabling projects to be developed, produced, recorded, scored, and mixed in house, efficiently and creatively.
